Made a school-record 38 appearances on the season... posted a 4-2 record to go along with four saves... fanned 30 batters in 47 1/3 innings pitched... allowed just five extra base hits on the season... team posted a 22-16 record in games he pitched... held opponents scoreless in 26 of his 38 appearances... allowed just 14 of 52 inherited runners to score... ranked third on the squad and first among relievers inducing 11 double plays... struck out two in 1 1/3 innings in his collegiate debut on Feb. 21 at Baylor... took the loss on Feb. 25 at Cal State Fullerton after giving up two runs on two hits in 1 1/3 innings... did strikeout a career-high three batters in the game... started a streak of 13 2/3 scoreless innings over 13 appearances on Feb. 28 with 2/3 of an inning of work against Texas State... earned his first save of the season on March 3, getting two outs against Oklahoma State... pitched 2 2/3 scoreless frames at UTSA on March 13... save No. 2 came at UNLV on March 16 where he pitched two scoreless innings... picked up first career win on March 18 at UNLV with a scoreless inning of work... improved to 2-1 the season with a perfect inning of work at New Mexico on March 24... streak concluded on March 30 against UNLV with two scoreless innings pitch... was touched for a season-high four runs on six hits in 1 1/3 innings against UNLV on April 1... fell to 2-2 on the season after allowing a run in two innings of work against UNC Wilmington... bounced back with 1 2/3 scoreless frames against UT Arlington on April 11... went through a stretch where he gave up three runs over the course of four appearances spanning 5 2/3 innings... followed with a dominating stretch 10 scoreless innings over seven appearances... 2 1/3 innings came in an appearance against New Mexico on May 4... earned his third save of the season on May 6 against the Lobos with 1 1/3 scoreless innings... streak ended after giving up two runs on two hits against San Diego State on May 24... was outstanding in the NCAA College Station Regional, earning Most Outstanding Player honors... appeared in four of the five games and was 2-0 with a save... earned the win against Dayton on June 2 after pitching 1 1/3 scoreless innings... notched the save against Ole Miss on June 3 after retiring all five batters he faced... best performance of the season came in the Regional Championship game against Ole Miss on June 4... allowed a run on four hits in 4 2/3 innings of work to pick up his fourth win of the season... also made one appearance in the NCAA Super Regional against UCLA on June 8.

Pitched for two years at Paris Junior College... was a first-team all-conference performer... posted sub-3.00 ERAs in both of his seasons at Paris... tallied 100 strikeouts in his career.
