2013 (Sophomore)
Started 50 games as part of 54 appearances... four appearances off the bench came as a pinch hitter... made 25 starts at first base and 25 as the designated hitter... tallied 40 hits this, seven of which were doubles and two that were home runs... collected 20 RBIs... tallied a hit in 35 games and reached base safely in 41... notched five multi-hit games and four multiple RBI contests... was 2-for-3 as a pinch hitter with a walk and an RBI... hit safely in all three games at Ole Miss (Feb. 15-17)... drove in three runs at Dallas Baptist on Feb. 26... collected RBIs at Jacksonville (March 3) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (March 5)... came off the bench on March 9 and delivered a game-tying, pinch hit single in the eighth inning against Pacific on March 9... game started a season-long 14-game hitting streak that saw him hit .304 (17-for-56)... delivered another big hit in the series finale against the Tigers (March 10)... singled in two runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to tie a game the Horned Frogs eventually won in extra innings... collected seven hits in his next four games play... was 3-for-10 with two doubles against Northwestern State (March 12-13)... collected two hits and an RBI in each of the first two games against Kansas (March 15-16)... had a hit in all three games against Oklahoma (March 22-24)... was 2-for-4 with a double in the opening game against UT Pan American (April 2)... hit his first home run of the season and drove in two runs in the series finale against the Broncs (April 3)... tallied a hit in two of the three games against San Francisco (April 5 and 7)... drove in a run against Baylor on April 21... collected his second pinch hit single on April 27 at Kansas State... hit spurred a four-game hitting streak... doubled and drove in a run against Texas Southern (April 30)... single in a run in the series opener at USC on May 2... went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs at West Virginia on May 12... had two hits in the series against Texas (May 16 and 18).

2012 (Freshman)
Played in and started all 43 games... made 30 starts at first base and 13 as the designated hitter... recorded a base hit in 27 games and reached base safely in 31... tied for second on the team with 17 multi-hit games... posted nine multiple RBI contests... led the team with a .338 average... ranked third on the squad with 34 RBIs despite missing 19 games with an injury... collected seven doubles and tied for second on the team with six home runs... hit .373 in 20 conference games... picked up a hit in his first career game on Feb. 17 against Ole Miss... missed the next 17 games with a back injury... returned to the lineup on March 23 at New Mexico... walked and scored a run in that contest... picked up his first two hits since returning from injury on March 27 at UT Arlington... drove in his first career run and added two more hits in the series opener against UNLV on March 30... hit his first career home run as part of a two-hit game against UT Arlington on April 11... had two hits and two RBIs in the series opener against Air Force on April 13... went 3-for-4 with two RBIs in a TCU win over Louisiana-Monroe on April 17... had three hits in the first two games at San Diego State April 20 and 21... a 3-for-4 game against New Mexico on May 4 spurred a seven game hitting streak that saw him raise his batting average from .288 to .337... hit .464 (13-for-28) with eight RBIs during the streak... delivered the game-winning two-run double in the seventh inning against New Mexico on May 6... had three hits, including his second home run of the season, and drove in three in the series opener at Air Force on May 11... had two more hits in game two against the Falcons on May 12... singled in a run in the series finale on May 13... streak concluded with a two-hit game at Oklahoma on May 15... had eight hits over a three game span from May 19-24 as his average climbed to .362... was 3-for-4 in game two against San Diego State on May 19... was 3-for-3 with an RBI in the regular season finale against the Aztecs on May 20... had a home run, a double and a career-high five RBIs against San Diego State in the opener of the conference tournament in Las Vegas on May 24... was 3-for-3 with two RBIs in an elimination game against the Aztecs on May 26... homered in the first three games of the NCAA College Station Regional en route to being named to the all-regional team... drove in the Frogs' only two runs of the opening game loss to Ole Miss on June 1... collected three more RBIs and had two hits in the Frogs' romp of Dayton on June 2... his two-run home run in the fourth inning against Texas A&M on June 3 gave the Frogs a 6-2 lead as TCU eliminated the Aggies... drove in a run in a 5-2 win over Ole Miss on June 3 as the Frogs staved of elimination... tallied his final hit of the season on June 9 in the NCAA Super Regional at UCLA.

High School
A three year letterwinner at Mountain Pointe High School... drafted in the third round of the 2011 MLB draft by the Seattle Mariners... two-time first team High School All-American... earned all-state honors twice... named the 2011 Arizona Player of the Year... also tabbed as the 2011 Gatorade Player of the Year... three time recipient of the team MVP award... left high school as the all-time Arizona career home run leader (60)... hit a single-season state record 27 home runs as a senior... helped lead his team to the 5A state championship after hitting .560 and driving in 65 runs... ranked by Baseball America as the third best prospect (the No. 1 high school prospect) in the state of Arizona.

Parents are Chris and Linda... has an older brother, C.J. and a younger sister Carly... brother, C.J., was a three-year star and a two-time MW Player of the Year for Utah... C.J. was a first round draft pick in 2011 by the Angels... father, Chris, is a manager at the Double A level for the Detroit Tigers... majoring in business.
