Earned Louisville Slugger second-team All-American honors... tied for second on the team with 18 games started... posted an 11-2 record and ranked 13th nationally in victories... team was 15-3 in games he started... ranked third on the team with a career-high 103 1/3 innings pitched... led the starting staff with a 2.70 ERA, a mark that was 32nd nationally... had the second-most strikeouts on the staff with 93, while issuing just 34 walks... limited opponents to a .239 batting average... named the MWC Pitcher of the Year and first-team all-conference after a solid conference campaign... went 4-1 in eight league starts with a 3.35 ERA in 51 innings pitched... fanned 47 and walked just nine... was the starting pitcher in four of the Frogs' six shutouts on the year... tallied his first win of the season on opening night against Sam Houston State Feb. 19... struck out six and allowed just three hits in 4 2/3 innings of work... turned in a solid performance at Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 26 to improve to 2-0... limited the Titans to a run on two hits in 6 1/3 innings... improved to 3-0 with a win over Texas Tech, allowing two runs in six innings... had a three-game stretch that saw him surrender 13 runs over 10 innings... was solid the remainder of the season, allowing just 15 earned runs over the span of his final 12 starts... bounced back with a solid performance against San Diego State on April 3... allowed just one run in 8 1/3 innings of work but got a no-decision... tallied fifth win of the season after giving up just a run on three hits in six innings at Houston on April 11... got a no-decision after allowing three runs on eight hits in seven innings at BYU on April 17... held UNLV scoreless for 7 2/3 innings while giving up five hits, one walk and striking out nine to improve to 6-0 on the season... tossed eight solid innings of one-run ball at Utah on May 2 for win No. 7... struck out eight in the victory... improved to 8-0 with a win over New Mexico on May 9... allowed three runs on six hits with six strikeouts in five innings pitched... was the tough-luck loser against Air Force on May 15 after allowing two runs on three hits in eight innings... put together a solid four game stretch from May 22 to June 12 in which he didn't allow an earned run over 23 1/3 innings pitched... dominated Cal State Bakersfield on May 22, holding it without a run on four hits in six innings of work... won the MWC Tournament clinching game, tossing six scoreless frames and striking out three... the victory was the 10th of the season... win No. 11 came in a masterful eight-inning performance against Baylor in the NCAA Regional championship game on June 6... limited the Bears to just three hits, walked three and fanned a career-high 10 to improve to 11-1 on the season... performance earned him a spot on the Regional all-tournament team... was the victim of an error that cost him five unearned runs in start at Texas on June 12... streak of not allowing an earned run came to an end against Florida State in the College World Series on June 23... allowed four runs on six hits in 2 2/3 innings of work.

2009 (Redshirt Sophomore):
Returned from "Tommy John" surgery to make 12 appearances, including 10 starts... finished the season with a 3-2 record and a 6.10 ERA... fanned 27 batters in 38 1/3 innings of work... walked just 10 batters... first appearance on the season came in the season-opener at Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 20... allowed three runs (two earned) in 1 1/3 innings of work... struck out five in five innings of work against Dallas Baptist on Feb. 24... earned the win in his first start of the season... suffered the loss against Baylor on March 4 after allowing two runs (one earned) in 4 1/3 innings of work... improved to 2-1 with a win at Texas State on March 10... tied his season high with five Ks in five innings of work... tossed five innings each in starts at Baylor (March 26) and New Mexico (April 3)... allowed just two runs on four hits versus New Mexico... tallied third win of the season against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on April 22... surrendered two unearned runs in 4 1/3 innings against BYU on May 1... tossed a scoreless inning at Texas in the Super Regional on June 6... team posted a 6-4 record in games he started... opponents were only successful on 3-of-8 stolen base attempts.

2008 (Sophomore)
Started the season as the Frogs' No. 2 starter before suffering a season-ending elbow injury... was granted a medical redshirt after undergoing Tommy John surgery in March... finished the season with a 1-0 record in three starts with a 2.50 ERA... struck out 12 batters in 18 innings pitched, while walking just five... picked up the Frogs' lone victory in season-opening series against No. 14 Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 23... tossed seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits with five strikeouts... got a no-decision against Pepperdine on March 1... allowed just two runs on seven hits in six innings of work... struck out a career-high six batters against No. 2 Ole Miss on March 8... allowed just two runs (one earned) on three hits in five innings... team was 2-1 in the three games he pitched.

2007 (Freshman):
Finished the season with a 1-0 record in 15 appearances with a 3.86 ERA... lone start of the season came on May 15 against UT-Arlington... fanned 22 batters and walked just six in 21 innings of work... TCU was 13-2 in games he pitched... held opponents scoreless in 10 of his 15 outings... made four appearances in conference play and had a 3.00 ERA... did not allow a run in his first four collegiate appearances, spanning 5 1/3 innings... collegiate debut came on Feb. 10 at UCF... tallied a career-high three strikeouts in a March 18 stint versus Air Force... allowed three runs in a career-high three innings against Texas A&M... followed with a stretch of allowing just one run in 6 1/3 innings over the course of five contests... racked up eight strikeouts to just one walk and five hits... pitched just 1 2/3 innings against UTA in his lone start, surrendering three runs on five hits with two Ks... earned his first collegiate win in the MWC Tournament Championship game against BYU on May 26... the Frogs were trailing 8-5 with two outs in the top of the ninth and Maxwell retired the lone batter he faced and TCU scored four times in the ninth to win the game... allowed just three of his eight inherited runners to score, helped along by opponents .182 batting average with runners on base.

Was the MVP of the state championship game... team was crowned the National Champions after his senior season... named first-team all-district and all-Greater Houston... also a first-team all-state performer... earned honorable mention Louisville Slugger All-American honors... was 14-0 with a 1.27 ERA as a senior.
