2016 (Sophomore)
Made 15 starts as part of 44 appearances on the season... all 15 starts came at first base... also appeared in 19 games as a defensive replacement, nine as a pinch hitter and one as a pinch runner... recorded a hit in 14 of 31 games with a plate appearance and reached base safely in 18... tallied five multi-hit games and three multiple-RBI contests... six of his 14 RBIs on the season came with two outs... first five appearances of the season came off the bench... notched his first career hit, a two-run single, against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Feb. 24... came off the bench against USC and went 2-for-3 with three RBIs on March 11... made his first start of the season on March 12 against the Trojans... was 2-for-4 with two RBIs in the game... started all three games against West Virginia (March 18-20)... was 3-for-10 in the series with two RBIs and two runs scored... made 15 straight appearances off the bench before returning to the starting lineup at Baylor on May 14... earned two starts in the Big 12 Championships... was 3-for-4 in the bracket championship game against Texas on May 28... hit his first career home run as part of a two-hit game in the Big 12 Championship tilt vs. West Virginia on May 29... started two of the three NCAA Fort Worth Regional contests... had an RBI single in the opener against Oral Roberts (June 3)... came of the bench and tallied a hit in the Regional championship game against Arizona State (June 5)... appeared in all three games of the NCAA College Station Super Regional at Texas A&M (June 10-12)... started three of the four games at the College World Series... had two hits, including an RBI triple against Coastal Carolina on June 21.

2015 (Redshirt Freshman)
Appeared in 16 games and made four starts... was a pinch-hitter in eight games, a defensive replacement twice and a pinch runner twice... three of his four starts came at first base and the other at second... posted a made his collegiate debut on Feb. 14 as a pinch hitter against Southern Illinois... first career start came against Oklahoma on March 24... drew a bases-loaded walk in his second career start against Wichita State on March 27... tallied a stolen base as a pinch runner against Incarnate Word on April 21.

Played baseball with various competitive leagues while attending Saint George School in Santo Domingo.... was a two-time MVP... participated in a pair of Perfect Game events, including the National Academic Showcase and the 2013 World Uncommitted Showcase... he was one of the top prospects at the World Uncommitted Showcase.

Parents are Rafael and Ana... has four siblings, Alex, Zahira, Rafael Eduardo and Christopher... father, Rafael, played baseball in the Major Leagues for eight years (1977-84) with the Reds, Astros and Dodgers... brother, Rafael Eduardo, played baseball at Duke.
