2005 Summer League:
Played for the Alaskan League's Anchorage Bucs... was teammates with current Frog Zach Ashwood... hit .258 in 36 games for the Bucs... hit 10 doubles and five home runs... drove in 22... successfully stole four bases in six attempts.

2005 (Junior):
Appeared in 44 games making 15 starts... all 15 starts came in center field... hit .211 for the season... seven of his 15 hits went for extra bases as he smoked four doubles and blasted three home runs... tallied nine RBIs and drew nine walks... saw most of his action as a pinch-runner and late-inning defensive replacement... scored 17 runs... was successful on four of six stolen base attempts... scored five runs as a pinch runner... doubled for his first hit as a Frog in game three against Utah off the bench... earned first start of the season against Texas Tech... was 3-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored... homered in game one against Florida Atlantic on Feb. 18... hit second home run of the season in the series finale at FAU... drove in three runs with a 2-for-3 day at the plate... led off the Sam Houston State game with third home run... drove in the game-winning run against Manhattan on March 4... tallied a hit in all three games against Rice... slumped following a fifth inning single in the series finale... went 0-for-his-next-15... broke the slump with a pinch-hit double against UT-Pan Am on April 27... scored the game-winning run in a come-from-behind victory over the Baylor Bears on April 19... had three two-out RBIs on the season.

Played in the Jayhawk League for the El Dorado Broncos... hit .323 over the summer.

Seward County:
Was a two-time all-conference player at Seward, earning honorable mention as a freshman and first-team honors as a sophomore... also a two-time all-region player... as a freshman, hit .350 with 16 doubles, five triples and 16 home runs... 16 home runs ranked sixth in the NJCAA... as a sophomore, hit .360 with 21 doubles, seven triples and five home runs... helped lead team to the Junior College World Series in each of his two seasons.

High School:
Was a varsity starter for three seasons... earned all-conference and all-region honors as a junior and senior... honored as an all-state alternate as a junior... played on the all-state squad as a senior.
