Tied for third on the team with 27 appearances out of the bullpen... team posted an 18-9 record in games he pitched... held opponents scoreless in 21 of 27 appearances... allowed just eight of his 23 inherited runners to score... boasted a 1.97 ERA over 32 innings pitched with 31 strikeouts and just six walks... allowed an unearned run in his season debut on Feb. 19 against Loyola Marymount... turned in four straight scoreless appearances, allowing just one base runner over four innings of work... streak included stints against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Feb. 24), vs. La-Lafayette (Feb. 26), vs. Gonzaga (March 4) and vs. USC (March 11)... tossed two innings of relief and allowed his first earned run of the season on March 12 against USC... picked up his first win of the year and started a string of eight scoreless innings pitched over three appearances on March 26 at Texas... struck out a season-high four against the Longhorns... tossed two scoreless innings vs. UT Arlington (April 6)... turned in a season-long 3 1/3 shutout frames at Kansas on April 10... suffered his lone loss of the season after allowing five runs against Dallas Baptist (April 12)... made two appearances each in the series at Penn State (May 7-8) and at Baylor (May 13-14)... didn't allow a run over his last 10 appearances spanning 12 1/3 innings of work... streak started as he retired the only batter he faced against Stephen F. Austin on May 17... struck out three in 1 1/3 innings vs. Oklahoma State in the Big 12 Championships (May 26)... contributed 2 1/3 shutout innings in TCU's come-from-behind win over West Virginia in the Big 12 Championship game (May 29)... earned win No. 2 on June 4 with 1 1/3 scoreless innings vs. Gonzaga in the NCAA Fort Worth Regional... retired all three batters he faced in the NCAA College Station Super Regional at Texas A&M (June 10)... made three appearances in the College World Series, picking up a win and a save... earned the victory retiring the only batter he faced against Texas Tech (June 19) in the CWS opener... picked up his lone save of the season, retiring all 10 batters he faced vs. Coastal Carolina on June 21... made his final appearance of the season on June 25 vs. Coastal Carolina.

2015 (Redshirt Freshman)
Made 10 appearances out of the bullpen before suffering a season-ending injury on April 3 against Texas Tech... posted a 1-0 record with a 2.19 ERA in 12 1/3 innings pitched... team posted a 7-3 record in games he pitched... held opponents scoreless in nine of 10 appearances... allowed four of six inherited runners to score... made his season debut with a scoreless inning of work on Feb. 15 against Southern Illinois... earned the win in relief at Arizona State on Feb. 22... retired the only batter he faced in the game... was touched for three runs on four hits in an inning of work at USC on March 6... bounced back with six straight scoreless outings before the injury... turned in a scoreless inning in games at Loyola Marymount (March 10) and against Baylor (March 15)... threw a career-high three innings and fanned a career-high four batters against Oklahoma State on March 20... worked a scoreless inning against Wichita State on March 29... had two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings at Texas Tech in his final outing of the year.

2014 (True Freshman)
Granted a medical redshirt after suffering an season-ending injury in a game against Texas Tech on March 22... allowed just an unearned run on six hits in 8 1/3 innings pitched... struck out 10 and walked three... team posted a 1-3 record in games he pitched... held opponents scoreless in three of his four appearances... made his collegiate debut on Feb. 21 against BYU... allowed a hit, walked one and struck out one in an inning of work... tossed a career-high three shutout innings at Rice on March 11... gave up two hits and struck out three Owls... tied his career-high with three punchouts in two innings of work at Oklahoma (March 18)... gave up an unearned run on three hits, walked two and fanned three against Texas Tech (March 22).

High School
Was a three-time letterwinner at The Woodlands High School... helped lead The Woodlands to the 2013 Class 5A State Championship.... earned high school All-American honors from Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball... ranked by Baseball America as the 60th top prospect in the state of Texas... earned all-state honors and was named the Class 5A Pitcher of the Year as a senior... also tabbed as the district MVP and the county MVP... played select baseball for Kyle Chapman... posted a 0.98 ERA with a 14-1 record as a senior... fanned 142 batters in 100 innings pitched.
