Started six games as part of 21 appearances on the mound... finished the season with a 3-3 record to go along with a 2.63 ERA in 54 2/3 innings pitched... ranked third on the squad with 62 strikeouts and walked just 15... team recorded a 3-3 record in games he started and an 11-10 mark in games he pitched... held opponents scoreless in 12 of his 15 relief appearances... allowed just two of his six inherited runners to score... opponents hit just .159 against the left-hander... made his season debut on Feb. 17 at Ole Miss... allowed a run on three hits and struck out four in three innings of work... earned the start and picked up TCU's first win of the season on Feb. 26 at Dallas Baptist... didn't allow a hit and gave up just an unearned run in six innings... struck out six and walked one in the outing... struck out four in two scoreless innings against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on March 5... made three straight starts beginning March 10 against Pacific... struck out six and gave up two runs on two hits in 5 1/3 innings against the Tigers... suffered his first loss of the season on March 16 against Kansas... gave up three runs in just an inning of work... allowed three runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings against UT Arlington on March 19 at The Ballpark in Arlington... made a brief appearance out of the bullpen at Oklahoma (March 24) before returning to the mound as a starter against Dallas Baptist on March 26... fanned six and gave up two runs in six innings... returned to the bullpen and made 11 straight appearances... pitched two scoreless innings at Texas Tech on March 31... contributed a scoreless inning in a 10-0 against UT Pan American on April 3... after allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits in three innings, tossed 11 2/3 scoreless innings over seven appearances... struck out four in two innings of work against Stephen F. Austin on April 6... tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings against Oklahoma State on April 14... fanned two in an inning of work at Kansas State on April 26... held Texas Southern scoreless for 2 1/3 innings on April 30... improved to 2-2 on the season after pitching a scoreless frame at USC on May 2... combined to shutout USC on May 4 with 1 1/3 innings of work... fanned three in two innings of work at West Virginia on May 11... scoreless innings streak was snapped on May 14 against UT Arlington... struck out the side but gave up a run on four hits in his lone inning... returned to the mound as a starter on May 18 against Texas... took the loss as he gave up three runs on five hits in 2 1/3 innings... was the winning pitcher in the Frogs' only Big 12 Championship Tournament victory... held Oklahoma State off the board for 5 1/3 innings... struck out a career-high nine and allowed just one hit.

Junior College:
Played two seasons at Blinn Junior College... teammates with current Horned Frog Kevin Daniels... was an all-conference performer as a freshman... also earned a spot on the all-star team as a freshman... posted a 2.96 ERA with 72 strikeouts in 73 innings pitched as a freshman... fanned 82 in 75 innings pitched with a 2.16 ERA as a sophomore.

High School:
Was a three-year letterwinner at Hendrickson High School... tabbed as the Most Improved Player as a sophomore... set a school record with 109 strikeouts as a junior... earned all-district accolades after going 8-2-0... improved his own school record with 156 punch outs and went 12-1 as a senior... was a Centex All-Star... selected third-team all-state... also tabbed as Co-District MVP... named Pflugerville Pflag Athlete of the Year... tossed a no-hitter as a senior and was named the ESPN Rise Texas State Athlete of the Week.

Parents are Mark and Brenda... has a younger sister, Kaelyn... majoring in criminal justice with aspirations to be a game warden.
