Appeared in a career-high 26 games and made one start... set personal bests with 61 2/3 innings pitched and 41 strikeouts... led the relief corps with a 6-1 record and posted a 2.34 ERA... also collected a pair of saves... team boasted an 18-8 record in games he pitched... held opponents scoreless in 16 of 25 relief appearances... allowed just six of his 20 inherited runners to score... allowed 13 of his 16 earned runs in his first 10 appearances of the season... boasted a miniscule 0.72 ERA in his final 16 appearances... pitched two scoreless innings in the season-opener against Jacksonville on Feb. 14... collected his first career save on Feb. 23 against UTSA... tossed three scoreless innings and struck out a season-high four batters... was touched for a season-high four runs on four hits and three walks in 2 1/3 innings against Sam Houston State (Feb. 28)... gave up an unearned run on two hits and tied his season high with four Ks in 2 2/3 innings against Dallas Baptist (March 4)... retired all five batters he faced against Michigan State (March 9)... made his lone start of the season at Oklahoma on March 18... gave up three runs on four hits in two innings of work... game started a string of four straight that saw him allow a combined nine runs in 12 innings... gave up three runs in three innings against Texas Tech (March 22), two runs in 3 2/3 at Oklahoma State (March 30) and one in 3 1/3 innings against West Virginia (April 4)... first win of the season came in the West Virginia contest... season turned with 2 2/3 scoreless inning at Kansas on April 11... improved to 2-0 with 2 1/3 scoreless innings at Texas on April 19... earned his second save of the season with two shutout frames vs. Texas Tech in Abilene on April 22... win No. 3 came in relief against Cal State Northridge as he allowed an unearned run on five hits in 2 1/3 innings... pitched a combined 20 straight scoreless innings over his next eight appearances... struck out both batters he faced against Kansas on May 3... improved to 4-0 with three shutout frames against the Wildcats on May 4... tossed four scoreless innings against Oklahoma on May 9... struck out the side around a hit at Baylor on May 17... earned the win in his lone appearance in the Big 12 Championships as he held the Bears in check for three innings... picked up his sixth win of the campaign against Siena in the NCAA Fort Worth Regional... was solid in a season-long relief outing against Sam Houston State in TCU's 22-inning victory over the Bearkats... allowed just three hits in 6 1/3 innings of work... gave up two hits in an inning of work in his lone appearance against Pepperdine in the NCAA Fort Worth Regional... was the tough-luck loser as the only base runner he allowed in 2 2/3 innings against Virginia scored in TCU's 15-inning loss to the Cavaliers in the College World Series... gave up a run on two hits in 2 1/3 innings against Ole Miss in TCU's final game of the season.

2013 (Sophomore)
Made three starts as part of 13 appearances... posted the lowest ERA on the team at 0.82... struck out 24 batters in 33 innings pitched, while issuing just four walks... limited opponents to a .207 batting average... team was 3-0 in games he started and 8-5 in games he pitched... allowed just three of his nine inherited runners to score... held opponents scoreless in eight of 10 relief appearances... combined on two of the Horned Frogs' six shutouts this season... made his season debut on Feb. 22 against Cal State Fullerton... was touched for an unearned run on 2 1/3 innings of work... tied his season-high with three strikeouts... collected two outs in a Feb. 26 outing at Dallas Baptist... pitched a scoreless inning with two strikeouts in a 13-0 win at Jacksonville on March 3... tossed two scoreless frame against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on March 5... earned his first start of the season on March 12 against Northwestern State... allowed two runs on six hits in five innings in the no-decision... surrendered two hits in 1 1/3 innings at Texas Tech on March 30... returned to the mound as a starter on April 2 against UT Pan American... pitched a career-high seven innings, giving up a run on four hits and striking out three to earn his first win of the season... game started a string of 17 2/3 innings without allowing an earned run to close out the year... improved to 2-0 with 3 1/3 innings of work at UT Arlington on April 16... gave up three hits and struck out three... collected is second consecutive win with three more scoreless innings pitched against Baylor on April 21... made his third start of the year on April 30 against Texas Southern... had to leave after one inning with an injury... missed the next three weeks with the injury... returned to the mound on May 24 against West Virginia in the Big 12 Championships... was victimized by the defense as he allowed two unearned runs on one hit in 3 1/3 innings of work.

2012 (Redshirt Freshman)
Appeared in 19 games and made three starts... finished the season with a 1-2 record to go along with a 4.70 ERA in 46 innings pitched... totaled 25 strikeouts and issued just 10 walks on the season... held opponents scoreless in 12 of 16 relief appearances... posted a 3.97 ERA as a reliever... retired all three batters he faced in his collegiate debut on Feb. 17 against Ole Miss... gave up a run on three hits in three innings at Baylor on Feb. 21... made his first collegiate start on Feb. 26 at Cal State Fullerton... was touched four eight runs (five earned) in the loss... gave up four runs (two earned) in a three inning start against Oklahoma State on March 4... pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings at UTSA on March 13... fell to 0-2 on the season after giving up two runs in two innings at Texas State on March 20... retired all three batters he face at New Mexico on March 23... after giving up three runs in his first inning of work at New Mexico on March 25, pitched 19 scoreless frames over his next nine appearances... issued just two walks and tallied 14 strikeouts during that stretch... struck out three in appearances against Air Force (April 14), Louisiana-Monroe (April 17) and Manhattan (April 29)... tossed four innings against the Jaspers on April 29 to earn his first collegiate win... pitched five scoreless innings against New Mexico on May 5... streak continued with three scoreless frames against San Diego State on May 18... pitched a career-high 5 1/3 innings against the Aztecs on May 24 in the conference tournament... struck out the side around a hit in his lone inning of work in the NCAA Super Regional at UCLA on June 8.

2011 (True Freshman)
Coaches elected to redshirt him in his first season at TCU... had a tremendous summer season playing for the Kauai Menehunes of the Hawaii League... named the top prospect in the league by Perfect Game and Baseball America.
