Fort Worth, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs made it a sweep, taking the game two against St. John's, 3-2. Clayton Jerome pitched seven innings en route to his third win of the season. J.J. Estrada provided the offense for the Frogs, who are 7-2 in their last nine games, with his fourth home run of the season. The Red Storm lost for the second time today after falling earlier in the afternoon to Texas-Arlington.

TCU picked up their only runs of the game in the second inning, when they struck for three runs on two hits. Chris Neuman walked to lead off the inning and scored on the Estrada home run to make it 2-0 in favor of the Frogs. Ramon Moses followed with a single to left and promptly stole second. On a pitch in the dirt, Red Storm catcher, Joe Burke looked to have Sean Stephens out at second, but a wild throw from first baseman, Chris Joachim allowed Moses to score from second with what proved to be the decisive run in the game.

Jerome sailed through the first six innings, allowing only one hit and striking out seven. St. John's finally found their bats and after a lead-off walk to Greg Thomson, the Storm began to mount a comeback. After the walk, Blake Hershelman executed a hit-and-run to put runners on first and third with no outs. Burke hit a fly ball to right to plate the Storm's first run of the game. Eddie Schultz collected a pinch hit single to plate Hershelman and bring them within one, 3-2. Kyle Dahlberg threw out Schultz trying to steal second to end the inning.

Chris White came on in the eighth and retired all three men he faced before giving way to Robbie Findlay in the ninth. Chris Joachim singled to lead-off the inning, but Findlay shut them down and picked up his second save of the season.

The Frogs, now 8-6, travel to Arlington, Texas for a rematch with the Mavericks. Game time at Clay Gould Ballpark is set for 1:00. Ryan Weems will get the call on the mound and will face Grant Varnell.
