Game Notes:
• The 10 hit batters by the Frog pitching staff ties an NCAA record set twice before (St. Joseph’s vs. Fordham on April 5, 2009 and Washington vs. Rice on May 22, 1998).
• The 13 combined hit batters sets the NCAA record, breaking the old mark of 12 set twice before (South Florida (8) vs. UCF (4) on April 1, 2008 and Nevada (9) vs. New Mexico State (3) on March 9, 1997).
• Jason Coats’ 60th double breaks the record of 59 held by Royce Huffman (1996-99).
Caleb St. Laurent became the 15th Horned Frog to make his debut at TCU this season when he pinch ran in the eighth inning.
• TCU batted around for the first time this season when it sent 11 men to the plate in the eighth inning.
Jerrick Suiter extended his hitting streak to four games and tallied a career-high three hits in the contest.
• TCU pitchers did not allow a Baylor hit until the seventh inning.
Derek Odell and Braden Mattson each tallied their first career doubles.
