The Demons completed the comeback in the top of the fourth, scoring a run on two hits, a walk and a hit batter. The damage could have been worse but Alex Young (3-1) got a strikeout to leave the bases loaded.

After a walk to Hendrix loaded the bases, a wild pitch allowed Witte to score. Gonzales hit a sacrifice fly to cap the scoring in the inning.
Northwestern State attempted to get back in the contest as it sent eight men to the plate in the eighth inning and scored three times. Justin Scharf came on and got the final out of the inning to keep the game out of reach with TCU leading 13-6. He pitched a scoreless eighth inning before giving way to Andrew Mitchell in the ninth. The junior fanned all three batters he faced to end the game.
Stefan Crichton started and allowed three runs on seven hits in 3 2/3 innings. He didn't walk a batter and struck out three in the no-decision. Young earned the win in relief as he tossed 1 1/3 scoreless innings. The freshman allowed a hit, a walk and struck out three.
TCU pushes its winning streak to three games and moves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Frogs' inaugural game in the Big 12 is set for Friday night when TCU hosts Kansas for a three-game series.
