Fort Worth, Texas - The Horned Frogs completed the sweep of New Mexico, as they took game two of Sunday's doubleheader 5-1. Clint Mokry pitched five innings of shutout baseball to pick up his first win of the season and Chad Huffman drove in two runs to lead TCU to their eleventh win of the season. Defense played a big part in the win as Frog pitchers induced four double plays in the game.

TCU got the scoring started in the second inning, scoring a single run off of Lobo starter Petr Pacas. Ramon Moses hit a two-out double and Sean Stephens drove him in with a single to give the Frogs a 1-0 lead.

The pitchers battled through the next three innings before TCU extended their lead in the sixth inning off of Lobo reliever Mike Smith. Huffman got the rally started with a one-out double and after a quick out, TCU strung together two straight hits, pushing the lead to 3-0. Bo Cogbill delivered a RBI-single to plate Huffman and scored on a Ramon Moses single. The inning ended when Moses was thrown out trying to advance an extra base.

TCU scored two more times in the seventh, highlighted by a Huffman bases-loaded single that plated D.J. Pokluda and German Duran, giving the Frogs a comfortable 5-0 lead.

Chad Underwood and Chris White teamed up to throw three innings of relief, allowing only three hits. Robbie Findlay pitched the final inning of the day, allowing a run on two hits, while striking out two.

The Frogs improve to 11-8 on the season and will play a non-conference game against Oklahoma on Tuesday before beginning conference play next weekend. First pitch on Tuesday is set for 7 p.m. at Lupton Stadium.
