Game Notes:
Josh Elander extended his hitting streak to five games.
• Elander tallied his team-leading third stolen base of the season.
• The error committed by the Frogs in the fifth inning was the first in 36 2/3 innings.
Kyle Von Tungeln had three hits in the contest, tying his career high done on two other occasions. Two of the three hits were infield singles.
Axel Johnson has driven in a run in each of his last two pinch-hit appearances.
Josh Gonzales made his first start at second base since Feb. 21 at Baylor. It was just his third start of the season.
• The TCU defense turned a season-high three double plays in the game.
Stefan Crichton has allowed just four runs in his last 26 innings pitched.
• The bullpen has pitched 16 consecutive scoreless innings over the last three games.
Justin Scharf has not allowed an earned run in his last seven appearances, spanning 8 2/3 innings.
