Game Notes:
• The TCU pitching staff has not allowed a run in their last 18 1/3 innings pitched.
• TCU tallied back-to-back shutouts for the first time since March 2-3, 2013 against Jacksonville.
• The TCU pitching staff struck out 10 or more for the 17th time this season.
• TCU notched its eighth shutout of the year. It's the most shutouts since the 2005 season when the Frogs posted eight in 2005.
• TCU's last win against a top-10 opponent came on June 3, 2012 against No. 8 Texas A&M in College Station.
Derek Odell has reached base safely in 14 straight games.
Boomer White has reached base safely in 11 straight games.
Cody Jones collected his 12th multi-hit game of the season.
Brandon Finnegan reached double-digit strikeouts for the sixth time this season. It was his first 10+ strikeout game since March 21 against Texas Tech.
• Finnegan established a new career-high in strikeouts. His previous season high was 84. He has 95 after tonight's game.
• The last Horned Frog to have 90+ strikeouts in a season was Andrew Mitchell in 2012. He finished the campaign with 101 Ks.
