TAMPA, Fla. - The Frogs came away with a series win as they took the rubber game of the three-game series. Chris Neuman got the scoring started in the first and TCU never looked back as they won the game 7-1. Ryan Weems was the star for the Frogs as he shut out the Bulls for seven innings en route to his fourth victory of the season.

For the second time in three games, TCU jumped out to an early lead on the strength of Chris Neuman's seventh home run of the season. Shelby Ford drew a one-out walk and scored on Neuman's second home run of the weekend to give the Frogs the early 2-0 lead after an inning of play.

TCU extended their lead in the third inning. Ford picked up a one-out singled and moved to second on a walk to Chad Huffman. Bo Cogbill delivered a bloop single to left field for his first hit in the series, driving in Ford and giving TCU a 3-0 lead after three innings.

The Bulls had something brewing in the fourth as Bryan Hierlmeier drew a lead-off walk. Ryan Weems bore down and struck out the Bulls best hitter, Myron Leslie and Kyle Dahlberg threw out Hierlmeier trying to steal to complete the strike 'em out, throw 'em out double play. Weems struck out Devin Ivany to end the inning with no damage.

TCU kept extending their lead, picking up another run in the fifth. Ramon Moses led off the inning with a triple to left center and scored on a Ford groundout, pushing the Frog lead to 4-0.

The hits and runs kept coming as the Frogs picked up two more runs in the sixth on a base hit by Austin Adams that plated Cogbill and German Duran, giving TCU a commanding 6-0 lead.

The Bulls got a rally started with two outs in the bottom of the sixth as they collected two straight singles, but Weems, continuing his dominance, got Leslie to line sharply to Adams in right field, keeping the Bulls off the scoreboard.

Weems stomped out another rally attempt in the seventh as the Bulls had two runners on with one out, but induced Kris Howell into the 6-4-3 double play to end the inning.

Weems was brilliant in his eighth start of the season, limiting the Bulls to just four hits in seven innings. He struck out two and walked two. Chad Underwood pitched the final two innings of the game for the Frogs.

The Frogs (22-15, 9-6) will play one more road game on Tuesday before returning home next weekend. TCU heads to Norman, Okla. for a non-conference match-up with the Oklahoma Sooners. Game time for the game on Tuesday night is set for 6:35 p.m.
