• TCU has allowed two or fewer runs in each of the eight games during the winning streak.
Jason Coats returned to the starting lineup for the first time since April 7.
Jantzen Witte returned to third base after six straight games as the designated hitter.
Kyle Von Tungeln tied a school record with five walks in the game. Matt Curry drew five walks against Arizona on June 5, 2010.
• Coats hit the 62nd and 63rd doubles of his career.
• Coats tallied the 85th multi-hit game and 54th multiple-RBI game of his career.
Jerrick Suiter stretched his on-base streak to nine straight games.
Josh Elander saw his 11-game on-base streak come to an end.
Andrew Mitchell's streak of not allowing a run ended at 23 1/3 innings.
Keaton Jones' streak of 15 straight games without an error came to an end in the sixth inning. He had played flawless defense spanning 68 chances.
Brandon Finnegan has not yielded a run in any of his nine relief appearances, spanning 11 innings.
• TCU pitchers issued a season-high 11 walks in the contest. The two teams combined for 20 walks in the contest.
