TCU Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle
Opening Statement:

"Obviously a great day for our team and our program. To be in the league just a couple of years, it's certainly a better feeling now than this time last year. I want to congratulate Oklahoma State for a phenomenal regular season, and to do what they did yesterday was unbelievable. [Michael] Freeman I thought did a really great job keeping them in the ballgame, but at the end of the day the value of staying in the winner's bracket showed itself out. Tyler [Alexander] was great, and [Dylan] Fitzgerald got the big hit in the fourth inning. I'm really proud of our team and excited to get back to Ft. Worth."

On Tyler Alexander's performance:
"I don't want to understate his performance because it was phenomenal what he did. Even without [Zach] Fish, Oklahoma State has a really veteran and physical offensive team. He did a great job of commanding all three pitches and staying in the strike zone. The reason I'm not falling over the table about it is because he's done that ever since we took him out of the bullpen. We originally put him in there to work on some things. I've always said since he walked on campus that he is like Preston [Morrison] because his best tool is that he doesn't get fazed."

1B Kevin Cron
On if TCU should receive a national seed in the NCAA tournament:

"Yea, this conference has a lot of talent one through nine. Anybody going into the conference season could have won the league. Everybody has talent and everybody competes. It's a good conference, and Oklahoma State is a great team. To come out on top is big for us. We would love to receive a national seed, but we did everything we could regardless of what ends up happening."

DH Jerrick Suiter
On his experience this week at the Big 12 Tournament:
"The main thing I did was see a lot of pitches. I think I drew a walk in every single game this week. I'm just waiting to find my pitch to hit and that's what has led to my success."

P Tyler Alexander
On the importance of being aggressive early:
"I pitch best when I pitch ahead in the count. When I get guys 0-2 and to fall behind, it allows me to get them to chase. That's a big part of me keeping my pitch count low. My success happens when I get ahead of guys and pound the strike zone as much as I can."

Oklahoma State Head Coach Josh Holliday
On Championship Game and Tournament:
"First off, Congratulations to TCU and Coach Schlossnagle. They are a fine team and we have known that all year. We have competed against them and followed their season, and they have played tremendous baseball the last six weeks. They are an outstanding team and Tyler Alexander pitched a great game against us today. He is a very poised freshman pitcher and he did a great job for them. Our kids fought hard and we could not get much going against him. We had a little bit of a shot there early to get a little momentum, but they came back with a four spot and kind of went from there. But, I am very proud of our team. I think what they accomplished in the last five days was significant. The way that we played; we played six games in five days and it's the most baseball we have played all year. For the most part it was very high end, quality baseball against elite opponents. To walk away from TCU; Texas, three times; and OU, twice, I believe we have walked out of here 4-2. So we saw some outstanding teams and played good baseball and it has certainly prepared us for what lays ahead, which, I'm sure is a challenging tournament next week somewhere. So, congratulations to TCU and I guess it's fitting that they won the tournament as we won the regular season as we were neck and neck from start to finish. "
