COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The TCU Horned Frogs completed the doubleheader sweep Sunday night with a 5-2 victory over Ole Miss. The win forces a winner-take-all game on Monday night at 6:35 p.m. Derek Odell had two hits, including the go-ahead home run in the game.

Brandon Finnegan was outstanding in 7 1/3 innings of work. He allowed a pair of runs on two hits, walked three and struck out seven to improve to 4-4 on the season. Justin Scharf picked up his fourth save of the season, retiring all five batters he faced with a pair of strikeouts.

A lead-off walk to Tanner Mathis came back to haunt the Frogs as he scored on a Matt Snyder two-out base hit to give the Rebels a 1-0 lead in the first inning.

After being held hitless for the first three innings, the Frogs came to life in the fourth. Josh Elander worked a lead-off walk and promptly stole second. With one swing of the bat, Derek Odell put the Frogs in front as he drilled a long home run to the right field bullpen for a 2-1 TCU lead.

The lead grew to 3-1 in the fifth inning as the Horned Frogs turned a lead-off double by Brance Rivera into a run. Keaton Jones did his job, sacrificing Rivera to third where he scored on a long fly ball off the bat of Von Tungeln.

Finnegan had to work out of a big jam in the fifth as the Frogs clung to the two-run lead. With two outs, Andrew Mistone and Jake Overbey hit back-to-back singles. An error loaded the bases for Auston Bousfield. Cron made the catch of the year as he reached over the dugout wall and caught a towering fly ball for the final out of the inning.

TCU took the momentum and turned it into another run in the top of the sixth. Odell was standing on second with two outs when Josh Gonzales roped a single into right field for an RBI single to make it a 4-1 ballgame.

The Rebels got the run back in the bottom of the frame. Alex Yarbrough walked and Snyder singled to put two on with nobody out. With both runners in scoring position and one out, Rivera laid out to try and make a diving catch. He couldn't come up with the ball and a run scored, but Rivera was able to throw out John Gatlin trying to go to second for the second out of the inning. Finnegan got Mistone to fly out to end the inning, keeping it a 4-2 contest.

TCU wasted no time regaining its three-run lead, scoring a run on two hits in the seventh. Jones led off the inning with a single and was safe at second on a fielding error by the second baseman. A base hit by Josh Elander loaded the bases with nobody out and Cron delivered a sacrifice fly to drive in Jones. The combination of Finnegan and Scharf slammed the door after the sixth inning, allowing just one hit the rest of the way. The duo retired nine of the last 10 batters they faced.

TCU improves to 39-20 overall and 3-1 in the NCAA College Station Regional. The Frogs and the Rebels will square off Monday night at 6:35 p.m. at Blue Bell Park.
