FORT WORTH, Texas - The 2011 season is just around the corner and the preseason accolades keep rolling in for the TCU baseball team. Baseball America tabbed the Horned Frogs as the No. 3 team in the preseason.

The ranking ties the highest-ever ranking in program history as TCU finished the 2010 season ranked No. 3 by Baseball America. The Horned Frogs debuted at No. 1 in the Collegiate Baseball poll released in December.

TCU returns its entire starting rotation from a year ago and seven starters in the field. All three members of the rotation (Matt Purke, Steven Maxwell and Kyle Winkler) have earned preseason All-American accolades, while Jason Coats represents the hitters as a preseason All-American.

The 2011 season kicks off Friday, Feb. 18 when the Horned Frogs host Kansas at 6:30 p.m.
