FORT WORTH - The TCU baseball team will wrap up a five-game homestand this week when they host UT Pan American for a midweek series beginning Tuesday.

TCU NOTABLES
• The Horned Frogs dropped a 2-1 series decision to Texas Tech in their first Big 12 series.
Brandon Finnegan tallied his fourth straight double-digit strikeout game of the season. He leads the nation with 65 strikeouts.
• TCU gave up 22 runs in the final two games against Texas Tech. TCU had allowed 22 runs in its nine previous games combined.
Boomer White has a career-long 14 game hitting streak and has reached base in all 23 games this season.
• The TCU pitching staff struck out 15 on Sunday. It's the fourth time this season the Frogs have fanned 15 in a game.
• TCU leads the Big 12 with 219 strikeouts and ranks third with a 3.00 ERA.
• The Horned Frogs have surrendered just 13 stolen bases, the third-fewest in the Big 12.
Cody Jones set a new career-high with his 14th stolen base, a mark that also leads the Big 12.
Eric Garza became the 13th Horned Frog to make his career debut on Sunday.

UT PAN AMERICAN NOTABLES
• UT Pan American dropped a 2-1 series to New Mexico State in its inaugural WAC series this past weekend.
• The Broncs are just 2-8 in their last 10 games played.
• Alex Howe paces the team offensively with a .345 average, 18 RBIs and nine stolen bases.
• Alberto Morales is the power threat with six doubles and two home runs.
• As a team, they are hitting just .237 and are averaging 3.9 runs per game.
• On the mound, the Broncs have a 3.73 ERA and are holding opponents to a .260 batting average.
• Tanner Dickerson is the go-to person in the bullpen with a team-leading 12 appearances.
• Defensively, they are fielding at a .969 clip. The 31 errors have cost them 29 runs.
• They have surrendered just 18 stolen bases in 30 attempts.

SERIES NOTABLES
• Tuesday's game will be the 58th meeting all-time.
• TCU leads the series 43-13-1.
• The Frogs are 19-0 against UT Pan Am under head coach Jim Schlossnagle.
• TCU and UT Pan American have faced off in seven of the last 10 seasons.
• The Frogs are 15-0 against the Broncs at Lupton Stadium.
• This season marks the fourth season (2005, 11, 13) that the teams will play a two-game midweek series.

STREAKING
Boomer White is in the midst of an impressive streak that has seen him reach base in all 23 games this season. Additionally, he boasts a career-long 14-game hitting streak.

White paces the Frogs with a .389 batting average, a mark that ranks fourth in the Big 12. During his hitting streak, White is hitting .426 (23-for-54). He has seven multi-hit games during the streak.

He has been held without a hit just twice this season and leads the squad with a .456 on-base percentage.

FINDING A WAY
Dylan Fitzgerald has an impressive streak of his going. The senior has reached base in 19 straight contests. He has reached base in 21 of the 22 games in which he's made a plate appearance.

Fitzgerald has tallied a hit in 15 of the 19 games he's reached base. He walked in two others and was hit by a pitch in two. The streak began with a 3-for-4 day at the plate against BYU on Feb. 21.

During the streak, Fitzgerald has a .312 (24-for-77) batting average, seven walks and two hit by pitches. He boasts a .384 on-base percentage.

AN ABERRATION
In losing the final two games to Texas Tech this weekend, the Horned Frogs did something that hadn't been done since 2009. The Frogs surrendered 10 or more runs in back-to-back games since April 26 (15 @ Baylor) and April 27 (11 vs. San Diego State). It's only happened seven times in the Jim Schlossnagle era.

TCU had allowed just 22 runs in the eight games leading up to Saturday's 10-2 defeat.

Giving up double-digit runs is a rarity in and of itself. The Frogs have allowed 10 or more runs just four times in the least 85 games played dating back to 2012.

PLENTY OF NEW FACES ON THE DIAMOND
On Sunday, Eric Garza became the latest Horned Frog to make his first appearance in a TCU uniform. Thirteen Horned Frogs made their TCU debuts this season. Eight hitters at the plate and five pitchers on the mound got their first taste of playing baseball at TCU.

On the mound, Tyler Alexander, Brian Howard, Jordan Kipper, Ryan Burnett and Brian Trieglaff pitched in their first collegiate games.

At the plate, the Frogs have seen the beginning of eight careers. Making their debuts were Garrett Crain, Connor Castellano, Eric Garza, Jeremie Fagnan, Dylan Delso, Ty Slanina, Walker Pennington and Will Fox.
