CENTENNIAL, Colo. - The Mtn. - MountainWest Sports Network debuts the latest installment of its original series, Reaching the Peak, when Reaching the Peak: Destination Omaha premieres on Thursday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. MT / 8:30 p.m. CT, following The Mountain View, Diamond Edition.

Reaching the Peak: Destination Omaha features the TCU baseball team, led by head coach Jim Schlossnagle.

Thursday's Episode 1 takes a look back at last season, when the Horned Frogs fell one game short of reaching the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska and looks ahead to their goals and expectations for the 2010 campaign. The show highlights the first practice of the year and incorporates interviews with coaches and key players.

Unique show elements contained within each episode of the series include:

• Three Up, Three Down: get to know the players with these 60-second question/answer sessions.
• Coach `Em Up: learn the fundamentals of the game with TCU's assistant coaches.
• Player Profiles: how the student-athletes came to TCU and what the game of baseball means to them.

Reaching the Peak provides viewers an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look into athletic programs across the Mountain West Conference as the show delves deep into the lives of the student-athletes. The last season of Reaching the Peak followed the Colorado State men's basketball team from the beginning of camp to beyond the 2010 Conoco Mountain West Conference Basketball Championships.

The four future episodes of Reaching the Peak: Destination Omaha will air at 7:30 p.m. MT / 8:30 p.m. CT on May 13, May 20, June 3 and June 10.
