The NCAA Baseball Regional brackets were announced Monday on ESPN. The TCU Horned Frogs, hosting their first-ever regional, will face the region's four-seed, Wright State on Friday night at 7 p.m. at Lupton Stadium. The Frogs enter the tournament as the one-seed, the first time in school history that they have achieved that seeding.

The other game in the Fort Worth Regional will see No. 2 Texas A&M versus No. 3 Oregon State. That game will be at 2 p.m. on Friday.

The tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 29 and run through Monday.

For the first time in school history, the Frogs have earned six straight trips to the NCAA Regionals. This is the Frogs eight overall trip to the regionals. The previous seven trips came in 1956, 1994, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. They are one of just 16 teams to appear in each of the last six regionals.

The winner of the Fort Worth Regional will play the winner of the Austin Regional in the Super Regionals. The four teams in that region include, the host school, Texas, Texas State, Boston College and Army.

For the first time in Mountain West Conference history, the league will be represented by three teams in the field of 64. TCU is hosting, while San Diego State is a three-seed in the Irvine Regional, while Utah is a four-seed in the Fullerton Regional.
