TCU women's swimming and diving landed 18 on the Academic All-MW team.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West has honored 68 TCU student-athletes with Academic All-Mountain West accolades for the spring semester, it was announced Tuesday.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
With 68 selections, TCU has garnered at least that many for the past four semesters. In spring 2009, TCU had 71 student-athletes honored, while 73 student-athletes earned Academic All-MW each of the past two years.
TCU was represented from nine winter and spring sports, including baseball, women’s basketball, men’s golf, women’s golf, women’s swimming and diving, men’s tennis, women’s tennis, men’s track and field and women’s track and field.
The women’s swimming and diving team led all TCU squads with 18 selections. It marked the second-straight year that team had the most Academic All-MW honorees. Baseball and women’s track and field, both Mountain West champions, were next with 11 selections apiece.
