Adrick McKinney finished off his TCU career with his best season as a Horned Frog after making tremendous strides during the offseason ... appeared in each game with a career-high 20 starts ... set single-season career highs for points, rebounds, assists and blocked shots ... led all Frogs in rebounding and was third on the team in scoring ... finished the season as the ninth-ranked rebounder in the Big 12 and was fourth in the league in offensive boards ... topped TCU four times in scoring, a team-best 14 times in rebounds and three times in assists ... had 10 games with double figures in points and three with 10 or more rebounds ... his two double-doubles led the Frogs ... grabbed at least five rebounds 23 times ... tied what was then a career high with 16 points while leading the Frogs to a win against Centenary (Nov. 12) ... tied for the team lead with six rebounds in the South Padre Island Invitational win against UAB (Nov. 24), while he also matched his previous career high with three assists ... came off the bench to pull down a team-best seven rebounds against Southern Utah (Nov. 29) ... collected his first double-double of the season and the second of his career with 10 points and a career-high 20 rebounds against Houston (Dec. 4) ... the rebounding total marked the most by a Frog since Jamal Brown pulled down Dec. 23, 2001 vs. North Texas ... the total also was the best individual effort during the entire season by a Big 12 player and ranked tied for No. 2 among all performers nationally at the time ... led TCU with nine rebounds at Tulsa (Dec. 8) ... posted his third straight game with at least nine boards and his fifth in a row leading the Frogs on the glass with nine vs. Southern (Dec. 18) ... added 12 points against the Jaguars ... recorded his second double-double of the year with 10 points and 10 rebounds at Rice (Dec. 22) ... just missed his second-straight double-double with 13 points and nine boards during the home win over Mississippi Valley State (Dec. 30) ... scored the game-tying layup against the Delta Devils with 1:40 remaining followed by the go-ahead points on a tip-off with just over 30 seconds left ... tied for the team lead with eight boards at Baylor (Jan. 12) ... finished a rebound shy of his third double-double against No. 16 Kansas State (Jan. 16), pulling down nine rebounds and scoring a career-high 18 points ... led TCU in rebounds with six and went to the free-throw line 10 times during the home loss to Iowa State (Jan. 19) ... scored 10 points and pulled down five boards at West Virginia (Jan. 23) ... led the team with 15 points and eight rebounds vs. Baylor (Jan. 26) ... scored a team-high 13 points at Texas (Feb. 2) while pulling down eight rebounds, including seven in the second half alone ... collected seven points and pulled down eight rebounds in the home win over No. 5 Kansas (Feb. 6) ... saw his streak of 17 consecutive games with at least five rebounds come to an end at Oklahoma (Feb. 11) ... the streak was the longest for a Frog since Zvonko Buljan went 24 games in a row in 2009-10 ... hauled in eight rebounds, including four on the offensive end, against No. 9 Oklahoma State (Feb. 27) ... had 10 points, including a 4-of-4 effort at the free throw line, at Texas Tech (March 2) while leading the team with seven rebounds ... hauled in a conference career-best 10 rebounds at No. 9 Kansas State (March 5) and set a career high with four assists ... played 19 minutes in the Senior Day win against Oklahoma (March 9), totaling four points and two rebounds ... closed out his Frog career with eight points and six boards in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship opening-round loss to Texas.

McKinney provided TCU with a physical inside presence in his first season on campus after joining the Frogs from Angelina College ... appeared in 32 games, making 16 starts for the Frogs ... ranked No. 2 on the team in rebounding, No. 5 in steals and No. 7 in scoring ... led TCU once in scoring and five times in rebounding ... reached double figures six times in points and twice in rebounds ... posted one double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds Nov. 14 vs. Austin College ... set his career scoring high with 16 points while adding five rebounds during the road loss at No. 14 UNLV ... pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds, including five on the offensive end, during TCU's overtime win at Evansville (Dec. 3) ... also scored nine points against the Purple Aces ... paced the Frogs with 15 points to go along with six boards in 35 minutes of action in the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam loss to Norfolk State (Nov. 20) ... hit 6-of-7 free-throw attempts while scoring 10 points the following game vs. Ole Miss (Nov. 21) ... hauled in seven rebounds, his highest total during Mountain West play, and matched a career best with three assists in the home overtime win over No. 11 UNLV (Feb. 14) ... posted a career-best three blocks in the win over Boise State (Jan. 21) ... chipped in 10 points and six rebounds off the bench against Rice (Jan. 4) ... tallied 10 points in his Frog debut against Florida Gulf Coast (Nov. 11).
2009-11 | ANGELINA COLLEGE McKinney arrived at TCU from Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas, where ranked as the nation's No. 45 junior college prospect for the 2010-11 season by JucoJunction.com ... averaged 15.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in 2010-11, leading Angelina in both categories ... named second-team All-Region XIV and second-team all-conference as a sophomore ... earned all-conference honorable mention honors in his first season at Angelina, posting single-game averages of 8.9 points and 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals .. also drew interest from a group of schools that included Ole Miss and Nevada.
PREP CAREER McKinney was a McDonald's All-American nominee as a prep at Fort Worth's Trimble Tech HS ... ranked as a top-25 Texas prospect as a senior ... was a two-time all-district selection.
