Played in five of six games in Australia, scoring a total of 24 points... played in two minutes of game five and missed all of game six due to a stomach ailment... scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds in win over North Coast All Stars... pulled down 29 rebounds in the first four games, an average of 7.25 per contest.

2001-02 Ended the 2001-02 season with an average of 10.0 points and a team-high 9.0 rebounds... ended the year with nine double-doubles... came off the bench to produce a double-double vs. Louisville in the Conference USA Tournament... had 15 points and 14 rebounds in 37 minutes... posted 26 boards against North Texas on December 23, establishing a then C-USA record for rebounds in a game (later broken by DePaul's Andre Brown)... against the Mean Green, Brown had 15 offensive rebounds, also a new C-USA record, and 11 defensive boards... the single-game rebounds total was the fourth-best day in TCU history, tying him with two others.... the total was two shy of the school record (28 by Eugene Kennedy vs. Arkansas, 1971), and it was the most by a TCU player since Kurt Thomas had 25 rebounds against Baylor on February 14, 1995... in the North Texas game, Brown hit 12-of-20 shots for a career-high 33 points... led the team in scoring four times, including once in league play... three of the nine double-doubles came against Conference USA opponents... reached double figures in rebounds in 14 games, including six league games... averaged 7.9 points and 7.3 rebounds in C-USA play... an excellent free throw shooter, Brown converted 127 free throws in 164 attempts for a percentage of 77.4%... made at least 10 free throws in four games... in TCU's 95-73 win over UTEP, Brown hit 18-of-23 free throws, en route to scoring a game-high 28 points... the 18 free throws made by Brown tied him for third in the single-game record book, while the 23 attempts also rank third... hit 10 free throws vs. Southwest Texas, Lenoir-Rhyne and at South Florida... during one stretch earlier in the season, Brown made 24 straight free throws... had 18 assists, including a career-high four vs. Louisville in the C-USA Tournament... also established career highs with three blocks vs. Creighton and four steals vs. UAB.
