Abron came off the bench for TCU in 28 games in 2014-15, averaging 2.9 points per game and 2.1 boards a contest ... Recorded a season-high 14 points early in the year versus Mississippi Valley State on 5-for-5 from the field ... Posted four or more rebounds in six games during the course of the year ... Corralled five rebounds at Texas Tech in 11 minutes of action, while also going 4-for-4 from the charity stripe ... Just missed scoring in double-figures against the Red Raiders in February, scoring seven points on 3-for-3 from the floor ... Posted five or more points in league play versus Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma and Texas Tech ... 2011-12 | FRESHMAN SEASON (AT ARKANSAS)
Abron saw extensive action as a true freshman at Arkansas, appearing in all 32 games for the Razorbacks and making 22 starts for a squad that posted an 18-14 overall record ... averaged 5.7 points per game, which ranked seventh on the tream, while leading Arkansas in rebounding average at 4.2 boards in just over 16 minutes per contest ... paced the squad in rebounding six times while reaching double figures in boards on four occasions ... set his career rebounding high with 16 boards, including 12 on the offensive glass, during a Dec. 3 road matchup at UConn ... set his career scoring high with 13 points Nov. 30 against Mississippi Valley State, one of five games in which he reached double figures ... made his first start in his fourth career game.
PREP CAREER Abron was one of the nation's top-recruited big men as a senior in 2011 out of Dallas' Seagoville High School ... a third-team Parade All-American as a senior ...
