Earned a spot on the West Division All-Conference team and on the All-Region 11 squad... Averaged 11.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game while shooting 58.3 percent from the floor as a freshman at Seminole State... Led the Trojans with 55 blocked shots... Racked up those averages while playing an average of just 20 minutes per contest while helping the Trojans to the Bi-State Conference Championship and a 21-11 record for head coach Phil Ingersoll.
Dumont is a 1994 graduate of Gaynstead High School where he played for Howard Harvey and Phillip Knibbs... Also played volleyball and cricket, was on the track and field, cross country and swimming teams... Selected to play on the Jamaican National basketball team... Was on the International Championship JABA team in 1998 where he was the leading rebounder and shot blocker, earning International Player of the Year honors... Was the captain on his high school team for three years.
