Green again proved to be one of TCU's top scoring options during his third season on the court as a junior ... appeared in all 33 games, making 18 starts ... ended his junior season as the program's active career leader in games played (97) and points (829) ... concluded the year with an appearance streak of 78 consecutive contests ... led the team in free-throw percentage while ranking second in 3-pointers, third in scoring and fourth in rebounding ... ranked No. 20 among all Mountain West players in rebounding for all games ... scored in double figures 18 times, leading TCU three times, while twice breaking the 20-point barrier ... set his career scoring high with 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range, during the Dec. 22 home win over Grambling State ... ended the season with his other 20-point performance, totaling 21 and adding six rebounds during the CBI quarterfinal loss at Oregon State (March 19) ... recorded his second career double-double, and his lone one of the season, with 14 points and a career-high 12 rebounds in the double-overtime loss at Colorado State (Jan. 14) ... it marked the second double-figure rebound game of his career ... posted 13 points in the home win against No. 18 New Mexico (Feb. 25) ... went 3-for-4 from 3-point range while scoring nine points during the Feb. 18 loss at Boise State, one of four games in which he drilled three treys ... made a career-best 16 consecutive free throws starting with the Jan. 11 win over UT Pan American and stretching through the Feb. 1 home win over Wyoming ... racked up 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting off the bench against Texas Tech (Dec. 6).
2010-11 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Green made huge gains during his second season on the court for TCU ... was one of three players to see action in all 33 contests while leading the Frogs with 32 starts ... finished as the Frogs' leading scorer with 369 points, an 11.2-point-per-game average ... his scoring average ranked 18th in the Mountain West Conference and No. 5 among league sophomores ... ranked No. 15 in the league, sixth among MWC sophomores, and second among Frogs in rebounding average (4.6 rpg) ... his field-goal shooting percentage (48.4 percent) was second on the team, while he led the Frogs in 3-point shooting (47.6 percent) and treys made (49) ... fell only one 3-pointer shy of meeting the minimum requirement of makes in order to lead the MWC in 3-point rate ... also was No. 3 among all Frogs in blocked shots (13) ... led TCU in scoring six times and totaled double figures in points a team-high 25 times ... paced the squad in rebounding nine times, second on the team ... scored at least 10 points in 13 of TCU's 16 MWC contests ... shot 50 percent or better from the field in 19 of 33 games ... recorded 42 of his 56 career 3-pointer in TCU's final 25 contests of the season ... recorded his career high of three 3-pointers eight times during the stretch ... scored a career-high 21 points, his first career 20-point performance, Dec. 21 vs. Northwestern State ... posted his first career double-double with 12 points and a career-best 10 rebounds Feb. 9 vs. UNLV ... finished MWC play No. 2 in the league in 3-point shooting (45.8 percent) and No. 8 in treys made (1.69 3pg).

Green saw extensive action as a true freshman, playing in 31 games with a pair of starts ... finished fifth on the team in blocked shots (six), sixth in rebounds (74) and eighth in points (132) ... scored in double figures five times ... totaled season highs of 18 points and eight rebounds Nov. 24 vs. Texas State ... collected eight points, five boards and two blocks in his collegiate debut Nov. 13 vs. Mid-American Christian ... made his first collegiate start on the road Dec. 2 at SMU as part of the State Farm DFW Duel ... also started Dec. 23 at Houston, when he totaled eight points and five rebounds.
Green arrived at TCU from Hightower High School, where he was one of the top players in the Greater Houston Area during his senior season ... ranked as the 12th-best player in the State of Texas as a senior by TexasHoops.com ... garnered All-Texas State accolades during his junior and senior campaigns, in addition to being named first-team All-District 23-5A both seasons ... averaged 15.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game as a senior ... posted 21 double-digit scoring performances ... helped guide Hightower to a 28-10 overall record and 13-0 conference mark ... notched a career-high 27 points, including five 3-pointers, against Austin High School ... selected as the Best Slam Dunker by MyHouston's55.com during his senior campaign ... garnered Most Valuable Player honors at the Beaumont Basketball Tournament ... played for the Houston Elite and Houston Hoops during his AAU career.

Gerald Jr., was a first-round draft pick by the Boston Celtics in the 2005 NBA Draft and is currently a member of Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia ... father also played college basketball, having earned a scholarship to Texas Southern ... majoring in communications.
