Finished third on the team in scoring, averaging 17.5 points during the six-game Australia trip... scored in double figures in each of the six contests... opened the trip with 14 points against the North Coast All Stars, then scored 17 vs. the Brisbane Bullets... scored a team-high 26 points in 137-109 win over the Kuiyam Pride... scored 18 against the Cairns Taipans, 17 vs. the Sydney Kings and 13 vs. the Wollongong Hawks... shot 55.4 (41-of-74) percent from the field... also pulled down 26 rebounds, an average of 4.3 per game.

A two-time all-district 13-4A honoree for Everman High School... played in the Metro All-Star game and Oil Bowl All-Star game... scored 17 points in the Oil Bowl game... averaged 20.4 points and shot 48.4 percent from the field... 9.4 rebounds per contest... ranked as the 16th-best player in the state by Texas Hoops... helped lead bi-district champs and district runners-up to 31-4 record as a junior in 1997-98... averaged 12.2 points and 6.4 rebounds as a junior on senior-laden team... shot 50 percent from the floor and started in 27 games... Everman won first 24 games during junior season and was ranked No. 1 in Class 4A much of the year... they were also 25th nationally... coached by James Duncan.
