FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Louis Truscott had a double-double by halftime, scoring a season-high 21 points and grabbing a career-high 21 rebounds to lead Houston past TCU 61-56 on Saturday night.

Jarrett Sidney added 10 points and Anwar Ferguson had seven rebounds for Houston (6-11, 4-2 Conference USA), which led the entire game.

Houston held the Horned Frogs (7-12, 1-6) to 19 percent shooting from the field in the first half, the worst in TCU history.

TCU, which didn't score until the 10:17 mark in the first half, hit 28 percent from the field for the game. Houston led 33-20 at halftime.

Coree Santee scored 22 points for TCU. Bingo Merriex added 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.

The last time TCU scored fewer than 60 points was 146 games ago, in 1998 in a 57-54 victory over Tulsa.
