Post-Game Quotes
TCU 60, No. 17 Iowa State 71
Daniel-Meyer Coliseum
Attendance: 5,778

TCU Head Coach Trent Johnson
Opening statement...
"We had a good situation in today's game as we came out strong. I thought we did a decent job working with a physical team. Kyan Anderson is making guys better on our team and that speaks volumes of his maturation on this team and how much he's grown as a player."

Junior Guard Kyan Anderson
On today's game...

"What hurt us was a lot of turnovers toward the end as a team. We have to stay positive. Right now we just need to keep fighting and learn how to play through fatigue."

Freshman Center Karviar Shepherd
On playing for most of the game...

"It feels good to be out there, but it was difficult playing without Amric Fields today. I'd rather have my whole team on the court supporting each other, so we can show what we are truly capable of, but we don't. We have improved so much from the beginning of the season til now though."

Head Coach Fred Hoiberg
On the way TCU played...

"They dictated tempo the entire game. They are a team that plays extremely hard. I think head coach Trent Johnson has done a tremendous job with that group. Amric Fields didn't dress today and they still came out and played a competitive game. I tip my hat to those guys for playing hard, but we ended up finding a way to win the game in the end."
