NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Corey Smith scored 17 points off the bench and Vanderbilt remained undefeated at home with a 78-55 victory over TCU Saturday night.

Ted Skuchas also came off the bench in the first half to help Vanderbilt (5-4) lead 41-26 at the half. He had six points, four rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot.

In the second half, the Commodores extended their lead to 62-31 in the first nine minutes of play. TCU (6-4) was 1-for-11 from the field with four turnovers and five missed free throws as Vanderbilt swarmed all over the Horned Frogs' defensively.

Mario Moore scored 14 points and had five assists and Shan Foster, in his first career start, tallied 13 points to help Vanderbilt bounce back from two road losses and move to 5-0 at home.

Nile Murry led TCU with 12 points.

It was the second consecutive defeat for TCU at the hands of Vanderbilt. The Commodores beat the Horned Frogs 95-60 last season, leading by as much as 28 points at halftime.

Saturday night's game also marked a homecoming for TCU coach Neil Dougherty, who was an assistant at Vanderbilt from 1989-93 under Eddie Fogler and was part of Vanderbilt's last SEC championship team in 1993.
