FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU junior forward Vladimir Brodziansky was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team and the Big 12 All-Defensive Team as he was one of four Horned Frogs to earn conference awards Sunday.

Sophomore guard Alex Robinson was named to the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team. Freshman guard Jaylen Fisher and junior guard Kenrich Williams were named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.

Prior to this season, the only TCU men's basketball player to earn Big 12 postseason honors was Kyan Anderson, who was All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2014 and 2015. Brodziansky took home TCU's highest postseason honor since Hank Thorns was named First Team All-Mountain West Conference in 2012.

Brodziansky, who earlier this season became the first TCU player to earn Big 12 Player of the Week, finished the regular season ranked 10th in the conference with 13.8 points per game and 15th with 5.7 rebounds per game. His efficient shooting percentage of 57.8 percent was third in the conference and free throw percentage of 79.9 ranked sixth. Brodziansky was a primary threat on the defensive end as he ranked second in the conference with 2.3 blocks per game.

In his first season with the Frogs after transferring from Texas A&M, Robinson averaged 11.2 points and a team-high 5.5 assists per game, which ranked third in the conference. He has led TCU in assists in 23 of 31 games this season and has recorded at least four assists in all but five games. Robinson also had an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.1, which ranked fourth in the conference. He was the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week on Feb. 6.

Williams finished the regular season ranked second in the conference with a team-high 9.4 rebounds per game. His 13 double-doubles this season tied Baylor's Johnathan Motley for the most in the conference. Williams ranked third on the team with 10.2 points per game.

Fisher led all freshmen in the conference with 4.3 assists per game, 48 made 3-pointers and an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.6. His 10.0 points per game ranked fourth on the team. Fisher was the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week on Nov. 16.

TCU begins play at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship as the No. 8 seed on Wednesday against No. 9 seed Oklahoma at 6 p.m.
