FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU head men's basketball coach Neil Dougherty has advanced to the Sensational Sixteen on CollegeInsider.com's Runway to the Fashionable Four, the college basketball website announced today. Through the first two rounds of the tournament, Dougherty has received more votes than any head coach who made the field of 65.

Dougherty, seeded fourth in the Waters Region based on the Fashion Power Index (FPI), will face top-seeded and defending champion Gary Waters of Rutgers in the round of 16. Fans may cast their vote for Dougherty on CollegeInsider.com. Results of this weekend's competition will be announced on Monday, when the field is narrowed down to the Elegant Eight.

Of the 16 coaches remaining, four are in Conference USA. Joining Dougherty are Memphis' John Calipari, DePaul's Dave Leitao and Louisville's Rick Pitino.

Earlier this month, TCU's second-year head man was selected to staff writer Angela Lento's list of "College Basketball's 50 Sexiest Men." Currently, Dougherty is providing round-by-round analysis of the 2004 NCAA Tournament on the website.
