ESPN.COM RECRUITING RANKINGS - TCU (#34)

FORT WORTH — One of the top recruiting classes in the history of the TCU men’s basketball program has officially arrived on campus. The Horned Frogs’ 2013 group recently was rated as the nation’s No. 34 class by ESPN.com, the highest ranking for the program on record.

Stepping foot on the TCU campus this week are 2013 high school signees Brandon Parrish (Arlington, Texas/Seguin HS), Hudson Price (Orlando, Fla./The First Academy), Karviar Shepherd (Dallas, Texas/Prime Prep Academy) and Michael Williams (San Antonio, Texas/Regan HS). Another offseason addition, Pittsburgh senior transfer Trey Zeigler (Detroit, Mich.), arrived last week. Each player will take classes this summer and work out with returning members from last year’s team.

The incoming group will be part of a TCU roster that will be much different from last year’s squad that featured four senior starters in head coach Trent Johnson’s first season on campus. Key returnees include juniors Kyan Anderson and Devonta Abron, the team’s top and fourth-leading scorers from a year ago, as well as junior Amric Fields, who missed nearly the entire campaign after suffering a major knee injury in just his third game.

TCU’s newest additions will have an opportunity to gel with the returning core of players earlier than usual thanks to a summer tour of Canada scheduled for early August. The team will travel to Ottawa and Montreal for four games in six days. Incoming freshmen, which for many years were barred from summer tours, are now eligible to make the trips due to an NCAA rule change a few years back. The squad will be allowed to hold 10 days of full-scale practices leading up to its departure.

Check back with GoFrogs.com later this summer for updates on its upcoming tour of Canada, as well as for additional looks at next season's team.
