TCU Adds Three to Roster

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Dylan Arnette, Owen Aschieris and Chase Rogers were added to the TCU men's basketball roster as walk-ons Tuesday.

Arnette is a 6-foot 3-inch freshman guard from DeSoto, Texas. He averaged 16.0 points, 8.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game as a senior at Dallas Carter High School and helped lead his team to the state championship game last season.

Aschieris comes to the men's basketball team after spending a season as a practice player for the TCU women's hoops squad. The 6-1 sophomore guard is from San Diego, Calif., and was a first-team all-league and second team all-state as a senior for Santa Fe Christian School. Aschieris, pronounced a-SHARE-iz, averaged 22.0 points and 4.0 assists per game to help Santa Fe Christian make the CIF playoffs as a senior.

Rogers was a two-time all-state player and averaged 16.0 points, 4.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game at Evergreen High School in Evergreen, Colo. The 6-3 freshman guard helped Evergreen to the state playoffs as a sophomore, junior and senior.
