TCU, Vanderbilt Time and Network Announced

FORT WORTH, Texas – TCU’s game time for its Jan. 27 contest at Vanderbilt was set for 3 p.m. and will air on ESPN2.
For the third consecutive year, all 10 games of the Big 12/SEC Challenge presented by Sonic are slated to be played on one day, Jan. 27. The two conferences will own the air on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU for a minimum of eight consecutive hours, with matchups slated every two hours beginning at 11 a.m. The Horned Frogs will air on the ESPN family of networks 19 times throughout the season, including 17 times in Big 12 play.
It will be the sixth-ever meeting between the Horned Frogs and the Commodores. Vanderbilt leads the series 4-1, and won the most recent meeting, 78-55, on Dec. 18, 2004 in Nashville, Tenn. TCU's win in the series was a 51-49 victory in the first-ever meeting on Dec. 27, 1951.
TCU holds a 3-1 advantage over the SEC in the Challenge. The Frogs defeated Mississippi State, 71-61, on Dec. 5, 2013 and, 61-52, on Nov. 29, 2014 and beat Tennessee, 75-63, on Jan. 30, 2016. Last season's 88-80 loss to Auburn on Jan. 28 was TCU's only defeat in the Challenge.
