FORT WORTH--TCU men's and women's basketball season tickets are on sale for the upcoming 2012-13 season, the Horned Frogs' inaugural campaign in the Big 12 Conference.
The TCU men's team, led by first-year head coach Trent Johnson, will play 18 games this season at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, nine each in non-conference and league action. Highlighting the home slate are seven teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament a season ago, including national runner-up Kansas (Feb. 6) and Elite Eight participant Baylor (Jan. 26). Several longtime rivalries will also be renewed this season when TCU plays host to the likes of Baylor, Texas Tech (Jan. 5), Texas (Feb. 19), SMU (Nov. 15) and Houston (Dec. 4) at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
The Horned Frog men open the season Nov. 9 at the DMC against Cal Poly.
Adult reserved season tickets for men's basketball are available for purchase for $180, while youth reserved season tickets will be $90. TCU faculty/staff reserved season tickets will be $144. Fans will also have an opportunity to purchase the Frog Plan for a price of $400, which includes a minimum of four tickets to each home game behind the tunnel-side basket above Row 20.
The TCU women's team enters its 14th season under head coach Jeff Mittie with an 18-home schedule of its own on tap. The Horned Frogs' home slate includes eight teams that played in the NCAA Tournament year ago, including defending national champion Baylor (Jan. 2) and Sweet 16 participant Kansas (Feb. 13). Other NCAA tournament teams that will visit the DMC include Georgia (Dec. 19), Oklahoma (Jan. 9), Kansas State (Jan. 19), Texas (Feb. 2), West Virginia (Feb. 23) and Iowa State (March 2), in addition WNIT champion Oklahoma State (Feb. 20).
The Horned Frog women open the season Nov. 12 at the DMC against Charlotte at 7 p.m.
Adult reserved season tickets for women's basketball are available for purchase for $100, while youth reserved season tickets will be $50. TCU faculty/staff reserved season tickets will be $80. Fans looking to purchase a minimum of four tickets behind the baskets above Row 20 for each home game can select the the Frog Plan for a price of $200.
As a reminder, only those fans who purchase season packages will be guaranteed tickets to TCU's 2013 Big 12 contests. Single-game tickets for non-conference games will go on sale Nov. 9, while single-game conference game tickets will be available starting Dec. 15.
