TCU Vs. Alabama State: Post-Game Quotes & Notes

Head Coach Billy Tubbs

On the win
"It's really important to get a win anytime. We've found out a lot about our club in these two games. Tonight I think we played really good in some spots, just like in the last game. But we were also spotty. I thought there were some things (such as poor free throw shooting) that weren't typical of what we'll do this season. They're playing hard. I thought we played really well defensively in the first half, but struggled a bit offensively. All in all in was a step forward."

On the lineup
"You're starting to see a lot of people involved. When we used to score 100 points, somebody would have 30. Now we're distributing the points around more people. I like our starting combo, but I've got some other combos I like too."

On Hawai'i Tournament
"We're excited about Hawai'i. It will be a great test for us. It's a tough tournament. We want to win the tournament and come back a better basketball team."

Forward Myron Anthony

On the win
"We were up-and-down on offense. But when our perimeter is hitting, it opens up things for our inside guys. These games are good to build confidence. When we get to Hawai'i we'll have our work cut out for us. We all know that."
