Veteran member of the secondary in competition for a starting job... converted from cornerback to safety in spring 2004... a physical player who has made nine career starts.

Started the final five games and six contests overall... recorded the unofficial "Hit of the Year" in the win at San Diego State (Oct. 29)... his blow on an Aztec wide receiver was featured on ESPN... equaled a season-best with six tackles to go with a pass breakup in that contest... broke up two passes and had a tackle for a loss as part of four stops in the 27-24 Houston Bowl win over Iowa State (Dec. 31)... had an interception, pass breakup and four tackles in the 33-6 win over Colorado State (Nov. 5) which clinched the Frogs' Mountain West Conference championship... had fumble recoveries in road wins over Oklahoma (Sept. 3) and Wyoming (Oct. 8)... recorded a sack for a 9-yard loss against the Sooners... totaled six stops, including one for a minus-6 yards, in the 23-20 victory over Utah (Sept. 15)... 20 of his 35 tackles on the year were solo stops... had 3.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage.

Started the final three games of the season... responded with a career-high six tackles including five solo stops in his first career start at Louisville... also forced a fumble in that game... finished the season with 18 tackles including 17 solos... 11 of his 18 tackles came in the final three games.

Played in all 13 games at cornerback... recorded 17 solo tackles... broke up two passes... notched a season-high six tackles in the loss at Southern Miss.

Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School:
Earned area all-star and all-district recognition at DeSoto High School... listed among's top defensive backs... was a member of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Area 75 list... played for coach Dave Meadows... committed to Syracuse before signing with the Frogs.
