2015: Started all 13 games for the Horned Frogs in 2015 ... Finished fourth on the team in tackles during the regular season with 79, 1 of 4 TCU defenders to reach 70 tackles on the season ... Had a team high 13.5 tackles for loss for 33 yards ... Was third on the team in pass breakups in the regular season with 8 ...  Made first career interception, which he returned 50 yards for a touchdown, against Stephen F. Austin. Also had a pass breakup and five tackles in the contest ... Johnson had a new career high and team-best 10 tackles against SMU, including two for loss ... He also had his third career pass breakup in the win ... Recorded first career sack at Oklahoma State ... Johnson tied a career-high against Baylor in the regular-season finale with 10 tackles, including 2 1/2 for loss… Had eight tackles and two pass breakups in the Valero Alamo Bowl win over Oregon - including a pass breakup in the third overtime on fourth down near the goal line that sealed TCU’s fate in the 31-point come-from-behind win over the Ducks. 

Played in all 13 games ... posted 16 tackles, including 12 solo ... had at least one stop in each of the last nine games ... had a season-high three tackles against Texas Tech and Iowa State ... had a tackle for loss in the season opener versus Samford.

2013: Played in all 12 games as a true freshman ... contributed on special teams ... had the solo stop on four of SMU's five kickoff returns in TCU's 48-17 victory ... totaled two tackles against Baylor.

High School: Earned District 9-3A Most Valuable Player honors at quarterback his senior year ... passed for 1,117 yards and 12 touchdowns while rushing for 1,064 yards and 10 scores ... named All-Cooke County ... first-team all-district as a junior when he rushed for 580 yards and eight touchdowns ... also started at free safety during his time at Gainesville ... helped lead the school to the Texas Class 3A Division I quarterfinals in 2012 ... was also all-district in basketball and baseball ... chose TCU over UTSA.
