Incumbent at fullback but is listed on the second team entering the fall... hard-nosed player who can block and has good hands ... has made five career starts.

Made five starts... more of a blocking back, carried the pigskin just 15 times in 11 games for 88 yards, a 5.9 yards per carry average... did not have any carries for lost yardage... also caught four passes for 70 yards and a score... made his first career start at Texas Tech and notched his first reception in that contest... scored his first career touchdown on a one-yard plunge at UAB... had his career-best game at Cincinnati... carried seven times for a team-high 75 yards, including a 48-yard burst that set up the Frogs' lone touchdown... also caught a 44-yard pass in that contest which set up a field goal... scored on a six-yard reception from Kyle Kummer late in the Louisville game.

Worked his way into the second team on the depth chart at fullback as a true freshman... suffered a separated shoulder in practice in early September... carried one time for two yards in the Army game... was re-injured and did not play again.

High School:
Two-way standout who played both fullback and defensive end at Bangs High for Bo Robertson... named the AP Class 2A Defensive Player of the Year following both his junior and senior seasons... also named the Texas Sportswriters' 2A Defensive Player of the Year and the Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine/Gulf Lubricants 2A Player of the Year... named Defensive MVP of District 9-2A and earned first team all-district honors at fullback and placekicker... twice named to the all-Big Country Super Team... recorded 132 tackles, 46 tackles for a loss and 20 sacks as his team advanced to the 2A Division Championship... also rushed 196 times for 1,680 yards with 15 touchdowns... 2A Player of the Year as a junior after recording 24 sacks... rushed for 1,081 yards during his junior season.
