All-conference candidate at the cornerback position and as a punt returner... one of the senior leaders on defense... has been a starter in each of his first three campaigns... very competitive and physical player... best cover corner on the squad, usually matched against the opponents' top receiver... has 108 career tackles and a team-leading six interceptions... owns a 700 pound squat in the weight room... enters the fall with more starts (29) than anyone on the team.

2001: Earned second team all-Conference USA honors... The Sporting News tabbed him as a first-team all-conference defensive back and punt returner... started all 12 games... ranked at the top of the conference (1st) and nationally (T3rd) with 24 passes defended... finished fifth on the squad with 61 tackles, including 50 solo stops... notched a season-high 10 tackles in the win over Louisville... led the team and tied for fifth in the conference with three interceptions... was fourth in punt returns in C-USA with an 11.5 yards per return average, including a 50-yard touchdown vs. Tulane.

2000: Was the Frogs' starting cornerback before suffering a knee injury in practice before the Tulsa contest... had his string of 17 consecutive starts snapped... recorded 16 tackles in five games... had two interceptions and broke up four passes.

1999: Recorded 31 tackles, including 21 solo stops... started all 12 games... intercepted one pass and deflected seven others... interception came in the end zone against San Jose State, preserving the shutout... had a season-high seven tackles against Fresno State.

1998: Redshirted as a true freshman in 1998.

High School: A talented local product from O.D. Wyatt High... averaged 22.5 yards on 38 receptions with 14 TDs as a wideout during three prep seasons... a three-time second-team All-District 6-5A honoree... named to the Star-Telegram's Area Top 50... also excelled in basketball and baseball... picked TCU over Hawai'i, UTEP, Southwest Texas, UNLV and Tulsa.
