Sophomore defensive lineman who will compete for the starting role at nose tackle... turned in a solid spring... listed on the first team entering the fall.

2003: Worked his way into the rotation on the defensive line as a redshirt freshman... saw action in all 12 regular season games, but was suspended for the bowl game... recorded 23 tackles, including eight solo stops... had one tackle in the backfield for a three yard loss.

2002: Settled in to the nose tackle position while being redshirted in 2002... came to TCU as a prep fullback and defensive end.

High School: Played both fullback and defensive end during his prep career at Queen City High School... gained 635 yards on the ground as a junior and 1,027 yards as a senior... head coach was John Ivy... lettered in powerlifting along with football... placed ninth in the state powerlifting competition as a sophomore... was the vice president of his class during his freshman and sophomore years and was the senior class president... also is the president of the Queen City FFA and the district FFA, which covers 25 schools... selected TCU over Baylor and Arkansas.
