A post-season honors candidate... came out of seemingly nowhere (did not make the 2001 TCU Football Media Guide) to earn the team's MVP honors... greatest strength might be his ability to adjust to the ball while it's in the air... excellent work ethic with a great attitude... gets the most out of his ability... has gotten stronger in the weight room... owns eight career starts.

2001: Despite not joining the squad until August, earned the Rogers Trophy as the team MVP... led the team in both receptions (50) and receiving yards (819), despite not starting the season's first three games... his 50 catches tied for the sixth highest single season total in school history and was the most by a Horned Frog since John Washington hauled in 52 catches in 1995... his 819 receiving yards ranks fourth on the TCU charts and was the most since Kelly Blackwell logged 832 receiving yards in 1990... ranked ninth in C-USA with 4.55 catches per game and fourth with 74.5 receiving yards per game... averaged 39.4 yards on his five touchdown catches... became the first TCU receiver to notch four straight 100-yard receiving games when he went for 109 vs. East Carolina (on a career-high 10 catches), 104 at UAB, 116 vs. Louisville and a career-high 177 at Southern Miss... the 177-yard receiving day at Southern Miss tied for the sixth biggest single game at TCU and was the most receiving yards in a game since Patrick Batteaux recorded 184 vs. UTEP in 1997... teamed with LaTarence Dunbar to become just the second duo in TCU history to catch 10 or more passes in a game when each had 10 receptions vs. East Carolina... was on the receiving end of the two longest passing plays of the year... hauled in an 80-yard TD pass on the first play of the game in TCU's upset victory over conference champion Louisville... made a one-handed juggling catch and raced 74 yards to paydirt, in what proved to be the game-winner at Southern Miss.

2000: Completed his sophomore season at Middle Georgia Junior College... played for Randy Pippin... caught just five passes for a run-oriented offense but four went for touchdowns.

1999: Played primarily on special teams at Middle Georgia Junior College... returned two kicks for touchdowns and blocked three punts.

High School: Graduated from Lancaster High... lettered twice in football and three time in track... prep coach was Doug Black.

Personal: Adrian James Madise was born March 23, 1980... parents are Martin and Andrea Madise... is a speech communications major.
