Athletic player who will enters the fall as the probable starter at strong safety... also a key part of the Frogs' special teams units... physically strong and runs well.

2003: Second team strong safety who logged 12 tackles while playing 12 games... two of his stops were in the backfield... credited with a half sack... recovered one fumble... blocked a punt vs. Cincinnati which was returned for a touchdown.

2002: Saw limited time in the secondary and on special teams... played in 10 contests... logged three tackles and was credited with a forced fumble at Louisville... missed much of the 2002 spring drills with a concussion.

2001: Redshirted as a true freshman.

High School: All-district running back for Skyline High... a Dallas Morning News Area Top 100 selection... led the district in rushing with 846 yards on 116 attempts despite splitting time with two other backs... two-year letterman... moved from safety to running back after junior year... Dave Campbell's Texas Super team member... as a junior, he ran a 10.5 in the 100 and 21.3 in the 200 meter dash... a regional qualifier in the triple jump and earned all-district honors in the high jump... coached by Phillip Roybal... chose TCU over Michigan State, Oklahoma, SMU and UCLA.
