Underrated linebacker who has been a two-year starter... moves back to the "Mike" position after playing the "Sam" last year... possesses good size and toughness... physical at the point of attack... maturing as a player but still has upside potential... owns 158 career tackles, including 30 behind the line of scrimmage... has made 24 career starts, tying for the top mark on the squad entering the 2004 campaign.

2003: Led the team with 103 tackles (58 solo and 45 assisted) while starting every game... was in on 17 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, including a pair of sacks... forced a fumble and recovered a fumble... notched his first career interception at Southern Miss... was in double figures in tackles in three games, including a season-high 14 against UAB... credited with four TFL's in the bowl game against Boise State... helped TCU to top 10 ranking against the run.

2002: Moved into the starting lineup in game two against Northwestern at the "Mike" linebacker spot and never relinquished the position... ranked fifth on the squad with 53 tackles including 24 solo stops... eight of his tackles came behind the line of scrimmage, including one sack... forced a fumble against Houston... turned in his best game of the year when he recorded a season-high 11 tackles, including four behind the line of scrimmage, in the AXA Liberty Bowl win over Colorado State.

2001: One of two true freshman to get playing time for the Frogs in 2001... played behind Chad Bayer... did not play in the season-opener at Nebraska, then saw action in the remaining 11 games, including the bowl game... recorded a pair of tackles... also appeared on special teams... had to learn the linebacker position after playing defensive end in high school.

High School: All-state selection at DeSoto High School... a first team Dallas Morning News All-Area choice... all-Area Top 100 selection by the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram... a third-team Texas Football Super Team linebacker... played in the Texas/California Bowl... led his team in tackles... team captain as a senior... three-year letterman... coached by Ben Dial... chose TCU over Iowa State, New Mexico and Oklahoma State.
