2002: A first-team 2002 all-C-USA selection by The Sporting News... earned second-team all-conference accolades from the league's coaches and media... recorded 43 tackles including 24 solo stops... had 16 tackles for loss and recorded five-and-a-half sacks... recovered a fumble in the Liberty Bowl win... helped the Frogs to the number one ranking in the nation in stopping the run and in total defense.
2001: Stalwart in the middle of the Horned Frogs' defense... plugged up the middle, allowing TCU to rank third in the conference against the run... earned second team all-conference honors... made eight starts... recorded 21 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks... his efforts helped the Horned Frogs set a school record by holding conference champion Louisville to a minus-47 yards rushing.
2000: Saw considerable action in the defensive line rotation... had 27 tackles, including seven behind the line... had one sack and 10 quarterback pressures... had five tackles against Navy, Fresno State and SMU.
1999: Redshirted as a true freshman.
High School: Highly recruited coming out of Boswell High in Saginaw... a member of the Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Houston Chronicle State Top 100... named to SuperPrep's Texas Top 120 and All-America team... a second-team lineman on Dave Campbell's 1998 Texas Football Super Team... first team All-Star-Telegram... All-District 8-4A Lineman of the Year... had 68 tackles including 24 for losses... forced six fumbles... coached by Charles Hesse... chose TCU over Michigan, Texas, Nebraska and Baylor.
