Appears on The Sporting News' 2006 All-America checklist... an outstanding player in the TCU secondary... returning starter at weak safety... came to the Horned Frogs after being an All-American at Kilgore Junior College.

2005:
A second team All-Mountain West Conference selection in his debut season with the Horned Frogs... his 67 tackles tied for third on TCU... ranked first with 46 solo stops... averaged 6.9 tackles over the last seven contests... started the final seven games and nine overall... made his Frog debut with seven tackles, including one for a loss, in the season-opening 17-10 win at Oklahoma (Sept. 3)... totaled three interceptions on the year with his first pick coming in the 23-20 nationally-televised victory over Utah (Sept. 15) to snap the Utes' 18-game winning streak...also had interceptions in wins over Wyoming (Oct. 8) and Colorado State (Nov. 12)... his pick against the Rams was returned 25 yards... also made seven stops that night as TCU captured the Mountain West Conference championship... had a season-best 12 tackles, eight solo, and a pass breakup in the 38-17 win over Army (Oct. 15)... recorded a tackle for a loss as part of six stops in the 51-3 victory over UNLV (Nov. 12)... posted at least six tackles in eight contests, including six solo stops in the 28-14 win at Wyoming... totaled seven tackles in the 23-20 victory over San Diego State (Oct. 29)... had four stops with one for a loss in the 27-24 EV1.net Houston Bowl win over Iowa State (Dec. 31)... also had a pass breakup in the game.

2003-04:
Junior college all-American from Kilgore College while playing for coach Jim Rieves... also earned first team all-conference accolades as a sophomore after picking off four passes... was the MVP of the Pilgrim's Pride Bowl game... listed as the 17th-best junior college player according to Rivals.com and 53rd on the SuperPrep JUCO 100... helped the Rangers to a 10-2 record in 2004.

High School:
Was the Louisiana Defensive MVP in Class 2A in 2002 after the Port Barre (La.) Red Devils won their first state championship... earned 14 varsity letters: four in football, basketball and track and two in baseball... was an all-state player in both football and basketball... also considered Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Louisiana-Lafayette before committing to TCU.
