*TCU's nation's-best 12-game winning streak was snapped. The Horned Frogs had also won an NCAA-best 25 consecutive conference games.
*TCU dropped its first conference game since a 13-10 decision at Utah on Nov. 6,2008 in the Mountain West. It was the Horned Frogs' first conference home loss since a 27-20 defeat to Utah on Oct. 18, 2007.
*The Horned Frogs lost at Amon G. Carter Stadium for just the second time in their last 30 games. TCU fell to 58-8 at Amon G. Carter Stadium under Gary Patterson as head coach.
*With 455 yards of total offense, TCU had at least 438 yards of offense for the fourth time in five games this season.
*TCU had 185 yards rushing and lost for the just the second time in the last 63 games when rushing for at least 167 yards. The other loss came in last year's season opener against Baylor.
*The Horned Frogs scored at least 20 points for the 31st-straight game, the longest streak in the nation for totaling at least 20 points.
*A second-quarter Jason Verrett interception gave the Horned Frogs a pick in all five games this season.
*Today's attendance of 42,152 snapped a streak of 10 consecutive sellouts for TCU.
*Today's game-time temperature of 53 degrees represented the coldest day in Fort Worth since Feb. 12.

*Quarterback Trevone Boykin and left guard Joey Hunt became the 13th and 14th different Horned Frogs to make their first career starts this season. The 14 first-time starters this season ties TCU for fourth nationally.
*Boykin's 270 yards passing are the most by a TCU freshman since Andy Dalton threw for 298 against San Diego State on Nov. 24, 2007.
*Josh Boyce's six receptions give him 117 in his career, moving him past Andre Davis (114, 1992-95) and into 10th place on TCU's all-time list. He also extended his streak of consecutive games with at least one catch to 25 games.
*B.J. Catalon had a career-high 86 yards rushing on 13 attempts for the most yards by a TCU freshman since Waymon James ran for 102 yards versus San Diego State on Nov. 13, 2010.
*Aundre Dean's 7-yard first-quarter scoring reception marked his first touchdown since a 5-yard run against New Mexico on Nov. 27, 2010. It was Dean's first career touchdown catch.
*Laderice Sanders' 1-yard scoring run came on his only carry of the game and the second rushing attempt of his career.
*Devonte Fields, who came into the game leading the Big 12 and all freshmen nationally with 8 1/2 tackles for loss and five sacks, added a tackle for loss and a half-sack to his total. He is the lone Horned Frog to take part in a sack in all five games this season.
*Jason Verrett recorded his third interception in the last two games.
*Verrett's team-high three picks on the season are the most by a Horned Frog in a campaign since consensus first-team All-American Tejay Johnson had three in 2010.
*Jaden Oberkrom's 50-yard third-quarter field goal marked the longest made kick by a Horned Frog since Ross Evans was successful from 50 yards at New Mexico on Aug. 30, 2008.
*Oberkrom is the first Horned Frog with three field goals in a game since Evans at Virginia on Sept. 12, 2009.
*Oberkrom is now 8-of-10 on field-goal attempts this season.
*Skye Dawson's 163 yards on kickoff returns tied for fourth in a single game at TCU.
*Freshman punter Ethan Perry had a boot of at least 63 yards for the second straight week.
*Defensive tackle Chucky Hunter made his first start of the season and second of his career.
*Sam Carter had a team-best eight tackles for the Horned Frogs.
